• Check-in to Your Kandy Hotel: Upon arrival, check into your hotel in Kandy and take time to refresh.
• Evening at Kandy Lake: In the evening, take a peaceful walk around Kandy Lake, a serene body of water with lush hills and the Temple of the Tooth in the background.
• Cultural Experience – Kandyan Dance Performance: To conclude your first day, enjoy a vibrant Kandyan dance performance, a captivating display of Sri Lankan traditional music, dance, and colorful costumes.

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before heading to explore Kandy’s rich cultural heritage. Later, we’ll journey towards Sigiriya, an ancient rock fortress (approximately 2.5-3 hours drive).

• Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa): Begin your exploration with a visit to the Temple of the Tooth, one of the most sacred Buddhist sites in Sri Lanka. The temple houses the sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha, and its intricate architecture is a testament to Sri Lanka’s rich spiritual history.
• Kandy Royal Botanical Gardens: If time allows, enjoy a stroll through the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya, where you can see a variety of plants, trees, and orchids that are native to Sri Lanka.

Today is an exciting day as you explore the famous Sigiriya Rock Fortress before traveling to Nuwara Eliya, a charming hill station known for its cool climate and tea plantations.

• Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress: Begin your day with a thrilling climb to the Sigiriya Rock Fortress (Lion’s Rock). The ancient ruins at the summit, stunning frescoes, and panoramic views are truly breathtaking and make the climb well worth it. Don’t forget your camera for some incredible photo opportunities.
• Visit Dambulla Cave Temple: After Sigiriya, visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, another UNESCO World Heritage site. The complex features five cave temples adorned with beautiful Buddha statues and paintings.

• Explore Gregory Lake and Nuwara Eliya Town: Visit Gregory Lake for a relaxing boat ride, or take a walk around Nuwara Eliya’s charming town center, featuring British colonial-era architecture.
• Drive to Ella: After exploring Nuwara Eliya, we’ll head to Ella (approximately 2-3 hours), a serene town nestled in the southern hills, known for its beautiful hiking trails and breathtaking vistas.
• Check-in to Your Ella Hotel: Arrive in Ella, check into your hotel, and relax in this cool and tranquil town.

• Drive to Yala: In the afternoon, we’ll head to Yala National Park (approximately 3 hours), a renowned wildlife sanctuary famous for its leopard population and diverse flora and fauna.

This is an exciting day filled with wildlife and nature exploration. We’ll start early for a thrilling safari in Yala National Park, followed by a drive to Colombo, Sri Lanka’s bustling capital.

• Yala National Park Safari: Begin the day with an early morning safari in Yala National Park. Yala is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including leopards, elephants, monkeys, crocodiles, and hundreds of bird species. Enjoy the chance to see these majestic animals in their natural habitat.
• Explore Yala’s Scenic Beauty: The park’s diverse landscapes of jungles, lakes, and open grasslands provide stunning views and make for a truly immersive experience.
• Drive to Colombo: After the safari, we’ll drive to Colombo (approximately 5-6 hours), where you can experience the vibrant energy of Sri Lanka’s capital.
• Check-in to Your Colombo Hotel: Upon arrival in Colombo, check into your hotel and take time to relax or explore the city on your own.

End the day with a relaxing dinner at your hotel.

On the final day of your Sri Lankan adventure, we’ll explore the highlights of Colombo before transferring you to the Bandaranaike International Airport for your departure.
